Vacation Bible School

I helped out at VBS this week. It was alot of fun and quite crazy. I definitely found a new appreciation for teachers. I also found a new appreciation of my well-behaved children. My kids look like saints compared to some of the other hellions in their classes.
Here are some cute pics from VBS.

Good Bye Weeping Oak

Our house sold FAST!
We will miss this house. It was Jack and Caroline's first home.

Lazy, Hazy Days of Summer

Our routine lately on Sunday afternoons has been to spend it down at the farm. There is no better way to relax than to spend time with family, bob and float around in the pool and have a great Sunday supper together.

A trip down to Ed Lester's Produce Stand

I haven't taken a trip down to Ed Lester's Produce in Coushatta in years. This little stand has really grown and so has the variety of produce offered. My mom use to bring me here when I was young. We would go pick the blackberries there ourselves or we would stop to grab some peaches before going swimming at the Coushatta Country Club.
Caroline and I were looking for something to do while our house was being shown by Realtors ... so we drove on down. Our menu at the house for dinner is nothing but vegetables for the next week. Sweet corn, new potatoes, tomatoes, butter beans, peaches, etc.

Rosemary Beach 2010

Jack's First Swim Meet

He is doing great. He had to stop and grab onto the rope a few times .... but the kids is turning into a fish. Maybe I have a Michael Phelps on my hands.
