Make-up Mess

Since she got to wear make-up for ballet ... Caroline now knows where to find my make-up in my bathroom ... and has gotten into it too many times.

Ballet Recital

I thought that it was quite silly at first to have Caroline in the Ballet Recital. (Thinking that she was too young). She proved that she was very ready for the limelight. At only 2 and a half ... this girl wore her costume and make-up proudly, was excited to go to the Strand Theater downtown (where all the princesses, aka other performers, lived), and she got on stage and did her little dance with her group.... she never missed a beat and was smiling from head to toe!

The Graduate

Can't believe he has finished kindergarten already. Time flies!

Harvest Time

I got some cute shots of the kids when we stopped in the nearby field that Uncle Kyle was harvesting.

Field Day at St Mark's

Field Day was so nice. The K-5 classes had a ball. It wasn't competitive, there were no losers, just a bunch of happy kids having a good time.

Wedding in Austin

We took a road trip to Austin to attend a wedding. The kids were great and enjoyed the resort. We walked on the nature trail (we scared Jack telling him that there were Indians in the woods), played putt-putt golf, and swam. The venue for the wedding was beautiful. Austin is a gorgeous town and watching the sunset on The Hill Country was a treat.

Tennis, Swimming, Ballet ... oh my!

The past two months have been very busy for us. (Hence why I haven't been blogging as much) The kids have had a ton of end of the year parties and activities at school plus they are involved in ballet, karate, swim lessons, swim team, running club and tennis. So I'll try to catch up on posting some pics and try to keep current during the summer.

Nana and the Kids

Caroline's Egg Hunt @ School

Caroline absolutely LOVES Renzi and when they have a class party she LOVES it even more. She was a hoot hunting eggs and playing with her friends. The funniest though was when she came home with all her loot in her basket. She ripped off all her clothes, took down her hair, sat on the floor and indulged in every piece of candy that was enclosed in the plastic eggs. She has on a total sugar high.

Backyard BBQ

We've enjoyed the backyard this spring. A few times the Allen's have come over to grill out. The little girls love to play with each other. They are so sweet. This one night they picked flowers and then as the sunset and the moon was rising ... they just laid on their backs in the grass, gazed up at the sky and talked about the moon and stars. Life is good when it is this simple!
