Birthday & Baptism

Caroline had a big weekend. We celebrated her first birthday in her pink tutu and she was also baptized at Grace. She was so cute during the ceremony ... she kept smiling and clapping her hands .. she liked all the attention.

Dragon Boat

Despite the horrible rainy weather. Chris participated in the Dragon Boat races on the Red River this weekend. This event would have been so much fun if it was a sunny day ... too bad.

Learning Curve

I'm very excited ... I just splurged and upgraded to a nice camera with all the bells and whistles. So I'll be back in normal blogging action and displaying lots of pics. I hope you don't get too bored with all my pictures of the kids ... but if you're reading this blog...you are probably pretty bored already.

So on Sunday I finally put the camera together and wanted to start shooting ... but the kiddos weren't too thrilled with that idea.

Rosemary Beach Vacation

Jack's daycare closes each summer for 2 weeks. Thankfully... Jack has wonderful grandparents, great-parents and an aunt and uncle who helped us watch him during that time. I did take off a few of those days. And at the last minute Chris decided he would take off some time too and so we got out of town and went to the beach.
We love Rosemary and once again it didn't disappoint. We had great weather, the water was clear and calm ... and the kids couldn't have been better. Our days were pretty routine ... wake up, beach, eat, nap, beach, eat, sleep, repeat ... life couldn't get any better. Here is a slide show of the pics from our trip.
