All dressed up

Jack's school had planned a week of manner lessons followed by a spring tea on Friday where they were to wear their Sunday best. Jack talked about this for weeks and asked me if he could wear a tie just like Daddy.
So I got him a cute tie with bugs on it.
We got all dressed up on Friday. He was so excited. He walked so proudly into school as if he was the Governor.
Unfortunately ... they had canceled the tea party and are having to reschedule it... oh well ... I did get a pic of him before we left the house.

Nice Weekend

We had such a nice weekend. The weather was great.
We started the weekend off with a family gathering at the Tokyo restaurant.
Then Chris and Jack took advantage of the great weather and spent time outdoors riding bikes and washing the car. Unfortunately, I think the pollen has gotten to Sissy. Caroline has caught a cold and so we stayed inside...but she's still happy even with a stuffy nose.

Thomas Turns 1

Thomas had his First Birthday today. He is such a cute kid... I love him to death. He, on the other hand, loves M&Ms... I caught a picture of him with his hand in the candy dish...he probably ate a few bags worth today...I've been known to do that myself.



Jack and Caroline both made new friends at the party.

A Weekend Visit With Brandon

Nana came to visit this weekend and brought Brandon along to play. Jack had a blast having a playmate all weekend. And they actually play well together ... however Jack bosses Brandon around alot (I wonder where he gets that from). They were so cute ... they played dress up together (Batman, Fireman, Power Rangers), made pizza, went to JoJo's farm and played baseball with Nana. I thought it was funny when they drove the toy firetrucks and ambulances thru the house saying that they were having a Mardi Gras parade.
